ReEngaged Ministries is an outreach by Catholic Laity to Catholic Laity. Our mission is to reengage disenfranchised and practicing Catholics in a more personal relationship with Jesus and the Catholic Church grounded in the real world through an outreach by laity to laity! This mission is advanced by connecting Catholics with authentic community, practical resources, and a vision for what a truly lived Catholic Christian Faith has to offer. This app is a part of offering the community, resources and vision of ReEngaged Ministries to others.
We value relationships over debates, faith witnesses over arguments, and a personal relationship with God over the mere acquisition of knowledge. We believe strongly in the Catholic Churchs words from Lumen Gentium: The laity can and must perform a work of great value for the evangelization of the world. We are a ministry laity reaching out to the laity in practical and human terms in the very real world in which the laity live. We operate in full communion of the larger Catholic Church while serving under the approval and guidance of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We believe that Christ calls all of us regardless of our social, ecclesial, professional or spiritual status to know God personally and follow him purposefully while pursuing full devotion as laity. We also believe that Christ does not call us to do this alone but instead in authentic community. We are ReEngaged Ministries: an outreach by laity to laity that leads the lost personally to Christ, the found more deeply to the mission of the Church,and the Catholic Church more profoundly into a relationship with the world.
